Job Description

We are currently seeking a Regional Manufacturing Excellence Manager to support the Southeast Region. This position will be located in our Zephyrhills, FL factory.  This role serves as the center of expertise for dissemination, guidance and implementation of manufacturing methodologies across the region with the purpose of enabling sustainable growth and improvement in all key metrics. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•    Establish, deploy, execute, and govern the Manufacturing Framework in the Southeast Region
•    Benchmark factories within the Region and across the Market
•    Support the definition of Manufacturing Framework at the Factory level and ensure alignment with the other Factories and Regions
•    Train and coach Regional and Factory leaders on the manufacturing methodologies
•    Support the RVP and Factories in selecting the appropriate problem-solving projects to achieve loss reduction goals.
•    Manage regional projects for Continuous Improvement based on business needs.
•    Report status and results of key projects to RVP.
•    Ensure that the benefits generated by the projects are properly measured and that the impact on total costs are effectively validated by F&C
•    Consolidate the savings of projects completed in the factories and communicate to the Management team.
•    Carry out visits to Factories to check adherence to the Manufacturing Framework, provide support, create alignment, and review the drivers & actions with the factory leadership team.
•    Assess the Factory Manufacturing Framework
•    Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% across the Region to execute duties and to travel to other Regions occasionally for benchmarking/training
•    Responsible for Market Data Quality and Integrity maintenance as a liaison between Digital in Manufacturing (DiM) Engineering Team factory leaders to ensure high Line Performance Data reliability for automated and manual lines.
•    Coach Regional and Factory leaders in troubleshooting automated data acquisition applications.
•    Be a champion and coach of Problem-Solving activities.
•    Support in diving data integrity and accuracy on the lines to enable accurate execution of loss analysis. 
•    Support Kaizen activities in support of continuous improvement.
•    Create and maintain a positive work environment by fostering cohesive teams and providing coaching and development to all associates.
•    Work collaboratively across the Factory Leadership team, internal and external customers and suppliers to achieve business needs.
•    Champion and lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including the pursuit of manufacturing excellence. 

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:
•    Six Sigma and/or Black Belt certification preferred
•    5 or more years of experience leading Continuous Improvement projects in a manufacturing environment

•    Prior leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience in operations needed. 
•    Basic understanding of Theory of Constraints/Line Balancing for automated lines 
•    Knowledge of TPM or equivalent manufacturing methodology
•    Experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment desired. 
•    Prior experience leading large, multi-site initiatives and projects desired.
•    Strong PC skills, including the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, minitab and DMAIC & FI related tools 
•    Advanced English Skills with strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and training skills
•    Strong grasp of the business with highly developed analysis, influencing, and change management skills.
•    Basic understanding of Engineering, Supply Chain, Safety, and Costing
•    Passionate about people and displays a caring attitude.
•    Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% across the Region to execute duties and to travel to other Regions occasionally for benchmarking/training.
