Job Description
We are currently seeking a Utilities Reliability Excellence Owner reporting to the Utilities Reliability Excellence Manager and based in a Factory with Remote eligibility (Location TBD). This position will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all Utilities systems and equipment (Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Compressors, HVAC, Power Distribution). The Reliability Excellence Owner will be responsible for Safety, Quality and Performance targets.
Pay Range: $93,100 - $132,000. This role is eligible for an annual bonus.
Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Support the design and optimization of Market level equipment maintenance strategies for Factory Utilities (to include Transformers, Sub-Stations, MCCs, Power Panels, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Filtration, Air Compressors, Dryers, Boilers, Deaerators, etc.)
• Coach, train, and mentor factory Utilities Owners in the monitoring and maintenance of systems and equipment to achieve reliability targets. Ensure that the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) workflow is being followed for all work execution.
• Support the annual Maintenance Investment Plan (MIP) budgeting process with ownership of all maintenance plans for Utilities systems and equipment.
• Own Factory escalations (during and after hours) as the initial point of contact for Utilities. Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to minimize the impact of failure to factory operations.
• Utilize Primo Brands technical communications tools (Breakdown Analysis, Reliability Best Practice, and Technical Service Bulletin, Pre-Post Action Summaries) to minimize Safety/Quality risks, reduce repeat failures and share knowledge to benefit our technical teams.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining Factory Technical Capability by supporting and maintaining the database of training material to support capability building. This will include but is not limited to SOP's, VWI's, OPL's, Instructional Videos etc. for all Maintenance, Safety and Environmental related activities by ensuring internal and external compliance.
• Conduct capability assessments of individuals, processes, systems and equipment that comprise factory Utilities. Assessment findings will be summarized and follow-up actions prioritized to address risks to Safety, Quality, Compliance and Reliability.
Qualifications
Key qualifications for this position:
• Technical training in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial trade or 3 to 5 years of work in a technical field (Food & Beverage Industry preferred).
• Experience working in a maintenance leadership role (Supervisor or Manager).
• Proven experience in supporting and supervising multiple projects at once.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Boiler, Ammonia, Wastewater and Air Emissions regulatory requirements.
• Capable of interpreting manuals, specifications, drawings, blueprints, and contracts
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to prepare clear, concise, reports and presentations.
• Demonstrated capability of working in cross-functional teams.
• Able to build rapport quickly with factory leaders and key stakeholders.
• Ability to develop individuals through mentorship and coaching.
• Familiar with Continuous Improvement methodologies. (LEAN, DMAIC, 5-Why, BDA, TPM).
• Experienced with using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP Preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS).
• Self-motivated and able to manage time and schedule travel to achieve objectives independently.
• Must be able to Travel up to 75%.
