Job Description

 

This role is based out of our Stamford, CT HQ with a hybrid work schedule with 3 days a week in the office (If you are not in the CT area, we are open to remote work, and travel as needed).

 

We are currently seeking a Manager of Business Solutions – IT/SAP Product Cost Manufacturing.


Main Responsibilities
•    Provide on-going production support for Factory Controllers during Period End Close, Operational Planning cycle, and day to day cost analysis.
•    Support Cost Accounting with troubleshooting Material Ledger and Cost of Goods Sold concerns/anomalies. 
•    Serve as the Point of Contact for core Supply Chain Finance reporting (S4 Hana - CCA, PCA, and SAC Costing Stories) issues.
•    Regularly monitor status of systems hosting business applications and resolve service desk tickets. 
•    Support the configuration of defined processes using best practices to satisfy business requirements. 
•    Provide technical assistance to customers and collaborate with appropriate teams to implement/ test system solutions. 
•    Provide technical analysis for the Finance function to develop functional/technical specifications and change requests.
•    Collaborate with business users and IT colleagues to design, develop, test, train, and implement process or system enhancements to support production solutions.
•    Work with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements and ensure all process are followed.
•    Perform as project IT Finance point of contact by effectively acting as liaison between IT Finance solutions and the business.
•    Provide project goals, tasks, and status updates to the appropriate parties involved in projects.
•    Ensure Business applications are developed in compliance with internal standards & methodologies.
•    Liaison with 3rd Party support to triage Supply Chain Costing issues raised by the function.
•    Ensure priority is appropriate for incidents and requests raised by the function.
•    Ensure 3rd party receives feedback on performance related to incidents and request raised by the function.

Qualifications

Key Competencies / Skills:
•    Experience with S4 Hana Implementation Configuration Tool (IMG) in the FI, CO, Costing modules.
•    Working knowledge of Supply Chain Manufacturing process integration with Product Costing
•    Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret technical requirements and translate them into system specifications.
•    Analytical and technical skills to understand requirements and produce functional specifications
•    Experience with Stakeholder Management in a cross functional environment
•    Experience in business process integration and design
•    Able to articulate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa
•    Good verbal and written communication skills
•    Good presentation/facilitation skills (classroom training experience is preferred)
•    Good interpersonal skills and able to work in cross-functional teams
•    Flexible and able to work in an ambiguous and changing environment
•    Self-starter and able to work independently
•    Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems that may not have clear answers 
•    Strong work ethic, results driven, organized, and structured 
•    College level degree or equivalent of minimum 3 year’s’ experience
•    Previous Finance Costing experience required
•    Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook.
