Job Description

Relocation Assistance: Up to $7500 offered

 

Position: Technical Lead B
Location: Kingfield, ME
Pay: $35.70 / hour and shift premium paid for applicable hours worked
Shift Schedule: 12 hour shift, full-time, rotating night shift, 2-2-3
Ability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and on-call per business needs

Responsibilities
Restoring machine to operating conditions during machine runtime failure in a team setting
Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components
Create retrofits and fabrication, complete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLC’s, VFD’s, and electric motors
Conduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements
Participate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installations
Work with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met
Plan, lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtime
Maintain partnerships with team members and vendors using effective communication
Provide break relief to production operators or team members as needed
Operate a forklift as needed to complete duties
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Minimum two years hands on experience in manufacturing preventive maintenance systems
Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong knowledge of industrial electricity, mechanical power transmission and fluid piping systems
Strong electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
Strong understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification
Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred
Preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, troubleshooting using a data driven systematic approach, rebuilding equipment, lifting, rigging, and lubrication. 
Ability to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)
Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members
Experience in a high speed manufacturing environment and water processing preferred
