Job Description
The Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing Point of Use (bottle-less water cooler) filtration systems and office coffee equipment. Professional training for this technical role is provided through on-the-job training.
Reporting Location: Jamaica, NY
Compensation: $29.00 / hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed
Start Time: 6:00AM

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installations, make repairs, troubleshoot, and maintain plumbed-in Point Of Use equipment (Water - Filtration) and office coffee brewing equipment
- Adhere to field service standards and procedures
- Ensure all work is performed to our quality standards and meets the customer’s expectations
- Be courteous, outgoing, and always maintain a professional image
- Monitor the competitive environment to understand and leverage sales opportunities
- Upsell additional products and services to existing customers and achieve monthly customer acquisition goals
- Meet pre-established productivity targets
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, parts (Direct Division Materials), and truck inventory
- Responsible for providing feedback regarding equipment and parts to help drive supplier improvement
- Support our Direct division sales teams with customer site assessments and system installations
- Record service activities and other data in the hand-held computer
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working with Point Of Use equipment and/or office coffee brewer equipment is preferred
- Prior HVAC experience, plumbing experience, water filtration, and/or auto mechanical technical experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds in all work conditions (indoor and outdoor), with or without a reasonable accommodation
- You must have the ability to obtain a DOT medical card for the purpose of working for Primo Brands if applicable
- You must possess a clean driving record, which means: in the last 3 years, that you’ve only had 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents and in the last 3 years, no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident
- Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement)
- Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and have a customer centric focus
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
