Job Description


We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager - Convenience Channel reporting to the Team Lead for Convenience Channel. This position will be responsible for managing BlueTriton partnerships with strategic Convenience Store Chains with headquarters in the Northeast/Central US Markets, driving performance and execution that is aligned with business and customer strategies, as well as achieving profitable sales objectives.  Position ideally based in MA or PA (or remote, pending qualifications).  This position involves 50%+ travel.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
•    Results:  Lead and deliver the Business Plan (IBP, Financials, Forecast and Trade Management, etc).
•    Cross-Functional:  Key Customer and business advocate liaising with all cross-functional partners such as Customer Development / Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, etc to ensure goal alignment that drives BlueTriton and Customer objectives.
•    Leadership: Challenges organization to ensure goals are met through evolution of changing business dynamics
•    Customer HQ Chain Management: Develop JBP business relationships with key Customers to ensure strategic alignment and continuously improve customer satisfaction through effective selling presentations that implement approved Customer Plans
•    Negotiating: Ongoing negotiations of key customer contracts and business development programs and concepts, leading to long-term profitable partnerships
•    Customer Planning: Develop and execute key Customer Growth Plans through the identified Integrated Business Planning process and within the company provided investment guardrails
•    Profitability: Full ownership of meeting company provided margin contribution and net/net sales targets
•    Customer Administration: Utilize TPM to forecast volume and annual trade spend. Additionally, manage deductions and reclaim any unauthorized deductions in addition to managing customer rebate payments & growth programs
•    Budget Management: Drive profitable growth while managing a company provided travel and entertainment budget




Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:
•    5+ years experience in Regional and/or Headquarter Account Customer Management 
•    Convenience Store Channel experience required
•    Strong current relationships in the Convenience Store Industry and Regional Chain Retailers
•    Seasoned expert of negotiating complex and multi-year agreements with Large Customers
•    Experience in Category Management 
•    Financial Acumen
•    Ability to creatively develop new strategies, processes, practices, and programs that will substantially enhance a consumer centric approach
•    Self-starter and Collaborative mindset
•    Creative inventor of new strategies, processes, practices, and programs
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerBI, TPM, Nielsen or IRI
•    Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
