Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for our Coppell, TX office. An Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for accounts payable invoice processing and, account reconciliation, period-end close processes, financial reporting and analysis. This position partners with several departments to help achieve corporate goals with a high potential for growth within the organization.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Accounts payable multi-process invoice processing, including purchase order creation, invoice verification, and account reconciliation, payment processing.
• Maintain analytical models in MS Excel to enable analysis and to monitor activities and control operations.
• Assists in the month-end close process including the preparation and submittal of monthly accruals and journal entries
• Invoice and purchasing analysis to facilitate invoice processing, account reconciliations as well as internal and external queries
• Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and technical standards.

Qualifications
• Education and Experience: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong computer skills with advanced analysis capabilities utilizing MS Excel, ERP’s
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships with both internal and external parties.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Preferred:
-Experience with Microsoft Excel
-Experience in Accounts Payable and Payment processing
-Experience with SAP
-Experience with Vendor Invoice Management systems and OCR technology
