Job Description

We are seeking an HR Generalist to support our Carlstadt, NJ and Jersey City, NJ locations for our ReadyRefresh service delivery business, reporting to an Area HR Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their skills for a career in Human Resources.   


Key Responsibilities
•    Serve as a point of contact for employees, interacting and answering administrative questions related to policies, processes, benefits, short/long term disability/FMLA process, leave/ADA policy/procedures
•    Routinely engage with frontline employees and escalate or investigate concerns while partnering with Area HR Manager and appropriate site leader.  
•    Ensure timely follow up with employees, fully closing the loop on their concerns/needs.
•    Organize and support execution of local activities and events in support of inclusion and belonging, recognition events, birthdays, and/or anniversaries.   
•    Aid in the development of local internal communication.
•    Complete I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 reporting.
•    Serve as a local HRIS support resource (SuccessFactors)
•    Provide support as needed for systems and processes related to time and attendance, payroll escalations, employee files, and special projects.   
•    Liaise with the Talent Acquisition Coordinators in support of weekly onboarding though Success Factors, local leadership and Area HR Manager. 
•    Facilitate New Hire Orientation on a rotational basis.
•    Maintain Personnel Files (physical and electronic)
•    Work with Area HR Manager and Site Leader on Performance Management issues.
•    Support with all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications
•    2+ years broad HR experience supporting execution of employee engagement, training, LOA, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, time and attendance, payroll, HRIS systems, and data reporting
•    Minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated effective use of HRIS systems and data reporting
•    Minimum of 2+ years of experience in interfacing with frontline employee groups and handling/mitigating issues.
•    Prior experience as an HR coordinator or specialist level preferred
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
•    PHR or SHRM certification is a plus, but not required.
•    Willingness to consider future relocation/ to be geographically mobile for future HR roles
•    Have access to reliable transportation to support interaction between both sites

•    Proven customer service and responsiveness to others
•    Ability to travel between Carlstadt and Jersey City locations and be on site with employees
